Babyou is a small, UK based, family business aiming  to provide a great variety of quality mother, baby and toddler products whilst giving an informative and helpful service.
We started Babyou soon after the birth of our eldest son Tristan in 2000.
Like all other inexperienced parents  we were suddenly thrown in the deep end and had no clue what to buy and what not. Let alone knowing what toy or equipment is right for what age.
We started out with wooden toys  as we thought that in this day and age people need to start thinking about our children and the heritage we leave them: the world. We felt that after feeding  our child a healthy, natural diet, toys made from natural materials would be the next logical step.
We selected toys that stimulate a child's creativity and development, rather than picking toys that leave nothing to their imagination.

All our wooden toys are scientifically designed, with a view towards a child's creativity. They are made of wood from plantations of rubber trees by skilled craftsmen. All our colouring is non-toxic and toys are manufactured to conform with International Safety Regulations.
In fact, our children have tested most of the products!

Later we introduced the very successful BabyBjörn range. You may already know BabyBjörn from their multi-award winning baby carriers.
A few years back, they have extended their Out and About range with Feeding and Potty Training products. Luckily enough for us, we got to try their full range out when our daughter Isabella arrived at the end of 2002. While I enjoyed the BabyBjörn baby carrier and changing bag from day 1, our eldest made great potty training progress with his very own potty chair!
The whole feeding range has been tried and tested and we must say it's great stuff. They obviously put a lot of thinking into their products. Whilst trying to understand the ability and needs of a baby or toddler, they never seem to loose sight of the parent.

Over a year ago we started with the Hippychick range. Hippychick caught our attention for their Hipseat which we used when our daughter was a toddler but still lied to be carried around. A real back saver, we decided to introduce the Hipseat to our range and also started to sell other items from this supplier like the very successful, award winning wheely bugs.
